When I go up this morning, I decided that I would have an intense Sunday workout. The sky was overcast in the morning, so I decided to head down to the gym for an intense Stairmaster workout.
Today's workout was inspired by fitnessmagazine.com.
I did this hands free, and was practically clinging on for my life during the last 20 mins.
Intense 60-min Stairmaster Cardio
Warm up, RPE 4-5.
Pick it up, RPE 5-6.
Getting warmer, RPE 6-7.
Go all out, RPE 8-9.
Recover, RPE 5-6.
Repeat minutes 15:00-21:00 five more times.
Cool down, RPE 3.
After doing cardio on the stairmaster, I did the following abs conditioning exercise because I didn't feel like doing crunches or plank. It's certainly a good variation to add to my workout. The third variation was indeed significantly harder.
By the end of the workout, my thighs were burning. Sadistic as it may sound, it was a sweet pain - a sign that I have worked hard!
